@Dogleaky @uk_domain_names I understand many want and need change. I don’t have an issue with that. I just don’t believe the Tories are going to give a) what was promised and b) the change that so many desperately hope for. My fear is that those most wanting change will be the most negatively affected.Duffer #FBPE @Mark_the_Duffer • 20 Feb 23:28 GMT
@healey_geoffrey @uk_domain_names neither have the brexit voters that then wanted a no deal brexit and a tory govt to do it. Fartage johnson yaxley lennon presented this creepy ww2 britannia rules the waves facade that would have had my dad furious making mockery of all those who fought facism in ww1 and ww2.Ditsy1 @missTfied66 • 20 Feb 23:22 GMT

@pmitch69 @sicowburn @uk_domain_names What about your Spanish residency card? The padro is a local governnent register. It certainly doesn't allow for the free movement and ability to live and work in other EU countries, especially from next year.mathunt71 🏴 🇪🇺 🌍 @mathunt71 • 20 Feb 17:37 GMT
Thread by @uk_domain_names: Here are some examples of the benefits we used to get from EU membership. (Handy but sad reminder!) Almost none o these benefits was captured in the £9 billion/year headline figure for EU membership, because they're not simply… https://t.co/NlzsmyzAFcKieron Slattery @kieron_slattery • 20 Feb 16:06 GMT

@uk_domain_names So if it is economical for them to move all this data you could ask why they would not have it reside in the UK.
I guess one factor would be the location and availability of Google owned or managed server farms?

Who in their right minds would choose a life foir them and their families among this nation of ignorant bigots and charlatan politicians happy to pander to them & wreck the country for the success of their own careers?

@mac_puck @fascinatorfun @John_Cotter @biscuitsgod @uk_domain_names @Jim_Cornelius Risk is an interesting thing to play with in contracts - it's what they're for, after all.
I feel a thread about level playing fields coming on.
@fascinatorfun @tfoale @John_Cotter @biscuitsgod @uk_domain_names @Jim_Cornelius ...transferred to the Builder or the Deisgn Team"
The problem is this: the Design Teams and Builders are forced to overdesign and over-Engineer everything to mitigate the risk that has been dumped in their laps. And this all goes onto the construction cost of the project...
@tfoale @mac_puck @John_Cotter @biscuitsgod @uk_domain_names @Jim_Cornelius Yes. My other favourite line is “It just needs a simple contract”.

@uk_domain_names All about number 5 at the moment. We're apparently getting 236 extra police officers in West Yorkshire!
