@BootstrapCook Had my first proper bout with probably gout on Sunday, and after three hours at Out Of Hours with something that just apparently... is, now... I'm trying to be good about sugar.
It isn't going well, and is also miserable.
@BootstrapCook I don't know your recipe, but a great easy one is literally just Greek yoghurt and frozen fruit, blitzed. Black cherries are my fave.Marxist & Proud #BDS @ChrisSamsDad • 20 Feb 08:51 GMT
@BootstrapCook I make this all the time and it's excellent. I even made it for Christmas at my in-laws to go with my homemade pate starter and they loved it!Jon @jev42 • 20 Feb 08:10 GMT

@BootstrapCook When? When? When? 🙂
If you publish the recipe when you can I'll definitely buy your vegan-ish book. 🙂
@BootstrapCook With Fibromyalgia, mainly winging it. I have a messy, creative house. It won't be in 'Ideal Home' any time soon. But my kids always have time, and they, their friends, and my friends know that there is always a hot meal and a messy sofa, should they ever need it.Claire Cozler @ClaireCozler • 19 Feb 22:26 GMT

@BootstrapCook Wake up.
Feed everything in the house whilst trying not to shout at them.
Dispose of small people for the day.
Retrieve small people.
Feed everything again.
Put small people into rest mode.
Think what went wrong today and what you need to improve upon tomorrow.

@BootstrapCook @samaritans @MindCharity @childline I don’t know how low they have to sink before they stop, but it looks like there is no depth they will not sink to in order to make money. @BootstrapCook Utterly appalling. The way that parts of the press exploit people with mental health or addiction issues, both as subjects and indeed as columnists, is profoundly grim.Mark O'Neill @marxculture • 19 Feb 17:39 GMT

@BootstrapCook How about a little piece of 100% cocoa chocolate?
It's amazing how quickly complex carbs begin to taste sweeter as you progress, takes a week or so.
@BootstrapCook I have just been on an anxiety course that recommended cutting down on caffeine and sugar or being careful what time of day I eat them. Can't deny the science of how sugar affects our moods 🤷Julie Holder @Julieh80 • 19 Feb 09:56 GMT
@BootstrapCook I made banana bread with coconut sugar instead of regular the other day and it tastes even better. I'm pretending coconut sugar is healthy cos it says it's full of good things on the packet and it costs so much I use less, so double good.Sheena Hatton @Sheena_Hatton • 19 Feb 09:34 GMT

@BootstrapCook I've not seen it yet but I'm not surprised a Korean movie has been getting so many plaudits. They've been producing some of the best films for years like The Host, The Villainess, The Handmaiden, Train to Busan, Oldboy...
The list goes on.
@BootstrapCook Hi Jack.
A challenge for you...
I have a value jar of sweet pickle (Branston in all but name) sitting in the cupboard unopened. Any ideas of how I could use it to cook something cheap?
No rush (it’s pickle, so not going off any time soon!).
Keep up the great work.
@BootstrapCook Sugar free chocolate and sweets are horrendous. I'm diabetic and I steer well clear as they make my stomach very unhappyJenZen @TheJenZen • 19 Feb 02:25 GMT

@ModernLeftie @BootstrapCook I think when Brexit starts to hurt people in ways they recognise (as in more than it already is) we will need someone leading who opposed it from the start.
