You are wrecking the flexible economy
@EamonnHolmes @Dot555Williams @cristo_radio @RuthieeL Exactly... the fact that "IR35 is so subjective and complicated." is the exact reason changes to the private sector should be stopped, and the whole thing reviewed. Tax law really shouldn't be subjective or contain ambiguity, which IR35 is actually full of.Nicholas Mayne @NicholasMayne • 26 Feb 03:49 GMT

@louisegaunt @teresadg0 Problem is #IR35 makes that irrelevant. It’s judged on a per contract basis. It doesn’t matter if you work for multiple clients or not. @louisegaunt @teresadg0 I’m building a secondary business on the side. I’ve taken many clients. IR35 isn’t about that at all. It’s also catching ppl who are legitimately providing a freelance service but without any employee protections. In what world is that fair?James Murphy @jmurphyuk • 25 Feb 20:38 GMT
@louisegaunt @teresadg0 It’s currently a mess. People who are declared inside IR35 have fewer rights than PAYE employees. Companies need a fluid workforce or they can’t take on riskier projects.
