@sajidjavid @FT @khalafroula Please can you explain to the media and millions of freelancers why you have not honoured your #GE2019 pledge to properly review #IR35
A rushed "consultation" on HOW & not WHAT to implement does NOT match your election commitment
HONOUR YOUR PLEDGE!
28 Jan: What do the results of the British general election mean for Labour and the left? @rmilibandlse will be hosting panel of leading analysts and activists. #LSELabour #GE2019 https://t.co/lUlxpm19jhLSE Events @LSEpublicevents • 18 Jan 10:46 GMT
As a Believer in God & the Last Day, I believe all comes from God, especially events that affect fates of nations, so Tories fascists winning #GE2019 means God did not want @UKLabour or @jeremycorbyn to prevail, they've been repudiated, God does not need them for His Plan.Nabil H The Peacemaker ⚛️☮️ @inabster • 18 Jan 10:44 GMT
#BorisJohnson suppressed the Russia report before GE2019, even though it was cleared in Oct 2019 for release.
The public have a right to know if Russia is influencing our politics, we have a right to know, however we voted.
A pretty fair analysis of #GE2019
"Fearing that Corbyn might make gains on Labour’s impressive 2017 election results, mainstream media, including broadcast media, put their blatant anti-Corbyn, pro-Johnson bias into overdrive"
@nickreeves9876 I agree we need to do sthg. I agree with peaceful protest (tho fear anything on 31st would be anything but peaceful). But we can at the *very* least join things like this, to show Europe & the world that WE (53% at GE2019) still exist and WE still object!
@MicloutT @FionaJow @Jonathan_MBanks 5 million people that voted Labour in GE2017, voted to leave in the Referendum.
Labour Lost 2.5million votes in GE2019 (45% to LibDems). Therefore 3.9m leave voters still voted Labour due to an unclear policy.
Take those into account and there’s a very clear leave majority.
If he makes big ben bong on February one he should get the job. Although he did try and Jhedi mind trick Boris on GE2019 https://t.co/q26kprDMnaliftman @Lift_Consultant • 17 Jan 23:54 GMT
@NIAbbot - “undeniable fact that the majority of people in this country do not want to leave the 🇪🇺 “
Apart from the 17.4million who voted #Leave in the #Brexitreferendum
and the 13.9million who voted #conservative in #GE2019
Undeniable? Yeah,ok. @LBC #LBC
#LabourParty Promised to plant 2 Billion Trees by 2040 in #GE2019 - Propaganda?
YOU Promised to plant also,
2 Million Trees in London
Was it propaganda? Alas, we know better now
BUT Crime did ️ https://t.co/zKarfgdEfV
JFK had to give an excellent & clear response to this kind of charge in running for US President sixty years ago.
"Dictated by the Vatican" seems to me an expression of anti-Catholic prejudice; no grounds in Long-Bailey's GE2019 statement on her RC faith
@Mell_GIPlanning We understand many decisions on specific matters are taken locally but there's still lots MPs can do at Westminster and in constituencies - our Pledging to Protect manifesto for #GE2019 discussed ways MPs can work towards each of the points of the Pledge. https://t.co/OnCLZd9PaZFields in Trust @FieldsInTrust • 17 Jan 10:09 GMT
@arthurlealady @AgentP22 @bbcquestiontime It was Liverpool. The city had overwhelming Labour majorities in the GE2019, so that was a fairly balanced audience as one might expect from the Beeb tonight.Philbo Bird @bootneckrecce • 17 Jan 00:07 GMT
@CarolineLucas @TerryReintke Once again a failure to comprehend the difference between EU and Europe. Three years wasted that could have been used to build a post-Brexit future. #Brexit #BrexitBetrayal #EU #democracy #GE2019 #EuropeKeith Parkins @keithpp • 16 Jan 20:08 GMT
It's beginning to look like continuity Corbyn for the #Labour party. It's as if last year and #GE2019 taught them absolutely nothing. Oh, apart from 'we won the argument, you know, the one that gave the Tories a majority of 80'.. that old chestnut.... #LabourLeadershipMîkey @Mikeygy • 16 Jan 19:44 GMT
@DavidDavisMP Sadly there is no halt of #IR35 while the speedy “consultation” takes place
@GOVUK has already predetermined the outcome by saying this is about ”how” & not “what” to implement
I seem to recall @sajidjavid @DominicRaab promised us a PROPER review in #GE2019
LET DOWN...🙁 https://t.co/MRKkqBf6OD
Good from @BBCGaryR on #bbcgms holding Douglas Ross to account on the 'once in a generation' claim.
Makes the point that Boris Johnson said that #GE2019 was "a critical once in a generation election" yet there will be another in 5 years in 2024. https://t.co/MQre0t8VNW
